Sowing New Seeds – Seed Saving Workshops

These will provide you with detailed training on seed saving techniques from a range of crops including exotic crops. It will include how to keep your seed pure, how to pollinate crops,seed extraction, drying and cleaning methods and storage.

As the growing season rapidly approaches, the Sowing New Seeds Project would like to give you the opportunity to grow something a bit more unusual. We are giving out free ‘Seed Steward’ packs so that you can have a go at growing calaloo, sharks fin melon, fenugreek and chickpeas. We have tried and tested all these crops, and they are easy to grow!
