
6th March – World Spelling Day: Realise the importance of vocabulary in our understanding and appreciation of nature.
7th March – World Mathematics Day: Much of how we investigate the natural world is maths-based, for example the world’s tallest tree, largest mammal, fastest mammal, speed of a hummingbird in flight
8th March – World Science Day: The place of science in schools is one of the most important debates and how much science is hands-on and focused on the environment via ‘environmental education’.
